Pee Wee Ellis, dubbed as ‘the man who invented funk’ is one of the best saxophonists of the last half-century. He joined James Brown’s soul and R&B band in the 60’s and before long became Brown’s bandleader, writing songs that took the band towards a new sound – Funk.

He will be joined by three outstanding European jazz musicians.
