Dunwich Heath
Dunwich Heath offers a real sense of peace, tranquility and being at one with nature!
Tucked away on the Suffolk Coast between Walberswick and Westleton, Dunwich Heath, part of the National Trust organisation, is a rare habitat for precious wildlife and home to species such as the nightjar, woodlark, ant-lion, Adder and Dartford warbler.
From July to September, the Heath is alive with colour; a patchwork of pink and purple heather and coconut-scented yellow gorse is an unmissable experience.
Fantastic walks and stunning scenery – make sure you put this on your list of things to do whilst in Suffolk!
