Hanover House, Aldeburgh (Sleeps 7)
Perfectly positioned for a seaside holiday, Hanover House is a delightful, bay-fronted property in the heart of Aldeburgh. Fully refurbished to provide a house with a great beachy feel, set over three floors, with two lovely ground floor bedrooms and shower room, a large open plan sitting room leading into the kitchen dining room on the first floor and two further bedrooms and bathroom on the top floor, sleeping 7-8.
Sea views from the first and second floors, looking out over the boating lake the little ones will love and beyond to the shore and traditional clinker built fishing boats providing super fresh fish and then the sea.
Aldeburgh and neighbouring Thorpeness have so much to offer! For sailors there is both a yacht and sailing club with sailing on the estuary and the sea; whilst those with an occasional interest in boating can enjoy boating on the Meare
at Thorpeness. Walkers, cyclists and bird watchers can enjoy a myriad of unique habitats from coastal landscape to heath and meadow land, estuary mudflats to woodland footpaths.
The town of Aldeburgh itself - home of the Aldeburgh Festival founded by Benjamin Britten - is still very much the lovely Edwardian resort it once was, with its pretty pastel coloured cottages lining the seafront, and the fine boutiques, galleries, quaint cinema
along the High Street. And do try the world famous best fish and chips
and delicious stem ginger, rhubarb and maple walnut cream ices
!Sleeps 7 - 2 doubles, 1 twin, 1 single (+1 pull out bed)
